Khaliq – you voted for anouk so I am not answerring this……

      Just kidding.

You want to find a job that makes you happy as you’ll be doing it for a long time. I can’t tell you what job you’ll be good at only you’ll know that. My advice would be simple – if you really want to do a particular job work hard for it. You’ll be sitting your GCSE’s (or O-levels if the government change them) in a few years and before you know it you’ll be working in a job.

If science makes you happy then you’ll have lots of choices, being a scientist, being a doctor, being a vet etc.

Follow your heart but use your head to work hard to get there.

      🙂

Hi Khaliq, Chris has given you some good advice on this so do take it. Finding a job you like is important as it motivates you and, when it gets hard, or frustrating and even boring, (which it will, no jobs are perfect), you can get over those bumps by remembering the big picture, that this is something that you are interested in and passionate about. But it isn’t always easy to find what it is you want to do. A friend of mine knew from the age of 12 what she wanted to do, and she went for it. But most of us (me included) do not know, we aren’t sure. In this case it is best to follow your interests, to try hard at everything you set your mind too so that you have the flexibility to go to whatever area you like when you see that you are interested in it. And it is really, really important to keep trying. Don’t give up if the first thing doesn’t work out. Some people are lucky enough to immediately find their dream job but this is rare. Most people try different things before they find what they want. And others work hard at a job they don’t really like so much but they follow their passions in their free time. And it works for them too.

It is important, whatever job you end up doing, to take pride in it and try to do it well, no matter what it is. This gives you a feeling of self-worth which is very important. Anything that is done with dedication and care is to be valued and respected.

Best of luck, do not worry, you will find your own way there 🙂
