I got this from yahoo answers as i didn’y know:

The metal with the highest melting point is tungsten, which melts at 6,188 degrees F (3,420 degrees C). But the highest melting point of any substance belongs to carbon, which melts at 6,386 degrees F (3,530 degrees C).

Mercury has the lowest freezing point of any metal -37.96 degrees F (-38.87 degrees C). Helium has the lowest freezing point of all substances -457.96 degrees F (-272.2 degrees C), less than 1 degree above absolute zero.

Hi, I think Diamond has the highest melting point (over 3550C), but am not sure.
