• Question: What a levels do you need to take to study medicine? i don't like maths and im not keen on chemistry

      When i applied it was maths biology and chemistry as a minimum. I think you’d be best off talking to your careers advisor and then can show you the current university acceptance criteria. If you don’t like maths and chemistry you could be stuck!!!

      It varies at different universities, so I would definitely speak to your careers advisor. If you follow the links to academic requirements from here:

      You’ll see what the medical school here at St Andrews are looking for. I think you might need that Chemistry, though!
