• Question: what do you think is the most interesting fact about DNA?

      Everything about DNA is interesting! I thinks it’s incredible that you can fit so much of it into a single nucleus to start with, but that the cell can then get to the genes it needs (and ONLY the genes it needs) and make proteins from them is truly amazing. Also fascinating that the genes in a cell can carry the entire information to make a person using just four ‘letters’: A,C,G and T. But that’s where RNA comes in and RNA is even more interesting than DNA…

      You can build something as complex as a human from only 4 DNA bases! Try writing an east with only 4 letters. How amazing is that!?
