  Sometimes people just grow apart and it’s better for them not to be together. If they stated together everyone around them wouldn’t be happy so they split up to try to make people happy. Sorry if you’re going through a bad time 🙁

  As Chris says, sometimes people just grow apart over time. It doesn’t mean they didn’t love each other to start with or, sometimes, even that they don’t still love each other: they just can’t live together any more. Certainly doesn’t mean that they don’t love their kids!
