ummm can you be more specific? demi? I’m not sure I understand the question 🙂 oops thank you

Maybe your question is about why someone is short? Is that right? Height is apparently mainly influenced by genes and is hereditary. So depends on what genes you inherited from your parents. But there is also the influence of nutrition. For example in places where children suffer from malnutrition (not getting enough of the right nutrients from their food) and infectious disease (which can contribute to malnutrition) a lot of them have stunted growth. This is common in poor populations such as those in sub-Saharan Africa.

      Sorry, don’t understand the question!

Oh, yeah, the penny drops…. clang. I was thinking of Demi as in ‘half’ rather than the name. I don’t get out much!

As Anouk says, in the absence of problems with nutrition or disease, it’s genetic. Lots of different genes are involved, though, so it’s quite complex.

I assume that Demi is a friend.

She may be smaller than you but this could be due to a lot of factors from genetics to environment. The same factors that have made you a pretty boy, Charlie!
