Way outside my area! Don’t know. But there are billions of stars and planets out there, so who knows…I love Doctor Who (first confession of the day!), so I like to think maybe. But not Daleks, please!
I do not know the answer to that question but I have asked it many, many times. I’d like to think ‘No’ but I have no proof or evidence. We just don’t know enough about our own universe to be able to answer that question. So your guess is as good as mine.
Space is massive, and thats a huge underestimation. If you think of how many billions of planets there are, then factor in those in the “Goldilocks zone” – planets which are not too hot, and not too cold, then there MUST be traces of life somewhere. How advanced this life is is unknown. Its doubtful they have invented TV yet otherwise Joderall Bank in Cheshire would have picked up some Alien broadcasts…..or maybe they have but its being kept under wraps in a conspiracy!
I doubt it. there is so much room out there, how can we be the only ones? Of course the others out there may be REALLY different than us, so we may not even recognize them when we pass them!
I think certainly there is a possibility. Perhaps a strong possibility. It may be far away on a distant planet or even in a different galaxy. It may be closer to home.
There is a possibility that some of the other planets and moons in our solar system have life on them. For example, one of the planets in our solar system, Jupiter, has a moon called Europa. The planet has the important ingredients to support life (water, some gases like carbon dioxide and oxygen). The moon has ice on the planet, and might also have liquid water.
Scientists are hoping that they might find life on the planet. They expect there may be bacteria or other small life forms there.
